Will these fit?
I'm in the process of purchasing a set of CCW Classic (track model) 16" wheels. They will be coming with Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials (255/ 26"x10.5"R16). These for sure will fit under the rear wheel well since RFlow306 and DerekFSU (I think) were running on them.

Here is my question...can I go to MT's ET Street version (since I will be changing wheel @ the track and won't be driving them on public roads) with the following size: 26"x11.5"x16" on the CCW 16"
Will I have fitment problems with them (i.e. rubbing on the inside wheel well or the outside portion of the wheel well)? An MT rep recommended this size based on what I am running now on stock rims (18") and drag radials (285/35/18) should fit. But he sounded like he had a question mark at the end of his sentence.
I wanted your guys opinions since you guys have intimate knowledge of the E55 whereas the MT guy does not. I'll call John or Chip @ CCW tomorrow and get there take but I wanted to give you guys a crack at it...
SPECS:
The Nitto drag radials have a overall diameter of 25.91" and tire width of 11.22" on 18" stock AMG rims.
The size in question are the MT ET Street with overall diamter of 26" and tire width of 11.5" on 16" CCW rims.
I dunno if you have contacts, but the best way is to simply do test fits. My guy at discount tire was cool enough to try on everything from 295s down to 265s on the rims I got until i was happy with the tread pattern and size.

I just shot CCW an email on the offset and to get their opinion. I might try and stop by a speedshop and see if they have some MT's and are kind enough for test fitting. Not sure where to go in Tampa, though.
Thanks for the feedback.

Try going to your local tire shop and ask the guy if you can pay to have them test fit to make sure you get the right size. If it fits, then you will buy.
...so maybe you can spread your 411. Hey...Happy Birthday!PS...Jangy being a "*****?" Never crossed my mind
