Isn't that inline with a 335i Cabrio? I was expecting at least 4.9...

Bigger heavier, not a better car. The new M3 is inferior to a chipped 335i.

I owned a 335i convertible for about 6 weeks. Absolutely hated it. Missed my 03 M3. I'll buy another E46 M3 soon.

I'm assuming its the lack of torque...its probably much quicker top end but its hard to get her up and running.

295tq and 3800lbs aren't very good for 0-60's.

Wow is that disapointing from an M. Is it just me, or is that one fugly convertable with the top down. I mean I loved my M roadster's look, but that is a look that even a new mother couldn't live with. Oh well, I am glad I own AMG's

See yeah

E46 M3 & Jeep SRT8 E60 M5 on order
that is 0-100 kmh translating to 5 sec flat 0-60 mph remember that is with a six speed. The new DCT transmission takes 2/10 off the 0-100 numbers officially. If history repeats itself the America's will get limp launch control and the DCT will probably be the same as the six speed.

That really isn't any faster than the e46 m3 convertible. Its seems like the 135i is the way to go.

I don't think it looks bad at all! Seems slow, but I think it looks pretty good. Would make a nice car for a broad!

Its thoose HUGE rear quarters panel that I find very distasteful. Heck I think my 2000 convertabe Stang looked better then that thing, let alone my 2001 M roadster. But then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder. EVERYONES eyes are different my friend.

See yeah

0 - 60 should be like 4.5 seconds. C & D numbers were 4.1 and 12.5@114 for the coupe. The 'vert should run a high 12 @ maybe 110ish.

5.3 seconds is sandbagging.
