20 minutes work tops
its done with macromedia flash, the text is loaded using an external variable (in this case, ur name), video is then produced into an FLV (flash video)..

Sorry for being Off Topic, but when is Speed Racer coming out? Back when I was a young lad (3 years ago) I loved watching that show. I saw the commercial and this movie looks so trippy...in a good way. I'm pumped.

You can see the different layers at the end when you can see it hovering.
It's pretty simple thing to do. Think of it this way. They created their own font style and superimposed the text onto the moving video.
