Just did star lowering and?

right now I can not even put 1 finger between the tyre and fender. is that too low. I am using 255/35/19F and 285/30/19R ...
I am just too worry that the bump stop will be too high and the wheel might damage the fender.... BTW. because we lower the car on airmatic. will it have better handling overall or is it all looks only?

I'm at stock height, and I already nailed the fender with my 20s.

Its either way too low or the wheel offsets are wrong. I'd raise it a bit. My 19's don't go near touching.
Have you got a 'car too low' warning?

measure the distance from the center of the hub to the fender lip (in a straight line -- most direct -- directly up) and we can see how low the car really is. I have seen front ride heights between 22.5 and 24 inches and rear from 21-24 inches. I liked it around 23.75 front and 22.5-23 rear.

Lets see a pic of the wagon with those awesome renntech wheels!

If you have the correct off-sets and the correct tire sizing you should never see a rubbing issue. You may hit the bump stops on the internal part of the shock but those are there to stop the car from smalling the suspension into the frame. Constant bumping on the bump stop can lead to them breaking off and damaging the shock but stronger units were installed in 2004 and on cars.

The problem with going to low is more an issue with driveability and suspension control. Going really low makes the car very bouncy and less dynamic. There is a sweet spot and I think its around 23.75 front and 23 rear (on a sedan so your rear measurements could be different).

Drive it around. I am lowered on star, and the car adjusts to the way you drive, if you drive "quickly" the car ends up being slammed. If you cruise around town, the car will be a tad bit higher. When I park my car over night in the garage, I go in lookin at the car and it's low, and when I come out the next morning it's slammed. Of course the car raises itself a lil bit when you start the car but it looks nice to me personally... Hope that helps...
