problem with tint?

I had some solar guard quantum 23% tint put on about a week ago and in certain light especially orange and yellow lights, a wavy pattern is seen on all windows.

Anybody else have this problem

Yeah, if you want the whole solar guard thing, than deal with it, if you dont care about the solar guard to much, i say change it up, cuz it looks goofy to me...

Ya, for whatever reason their darker stuff acts like a prism at night. They have been around awhile, but only did house/office window films until pretty recently...they're still relatively new to the auto tint biz.

Go to a tint shop that doesn't deal solarguard and ask them about it, it's not an unknown problem.

Oh ya, one more thing...

Did your installer really use 20% film, or did he layer it? Layering is unusual, but when it gets done it can cause the same problem you're talking about...
