Does Anyone Go Over There Anymore? I Swang By Last Week And About A Month Before That And I Didnt See Any Amg's. Where Does Everyone Meet Up Nowadays. I Havent Seen Any Of You Guys Since The Summer.

I think we are all waiting for Spring time to start swinging over there. Many people have started some projects as well and they would like to finish it before bringing out their Beasts...

I'll definitely head out there once the crew gets together and I get my new whip.
I've seen from other forums that there was a pretty large gathering there last week.
I'm excited about it. I loved those Edgewater meets on Thurs night and from what I've heard and seen, Captree is the King of all Meets lol.

It's not anything special really...just very fast. Like, I think stock it'll take most cars. Modded with bolt ons and some laughing gas or perhaps a light camshaft package...I should take anything on the road. But I'm going to enjoy it stock for a few months 'till I get beat. Then I'll know its time to move on. I'm a young guy so I need something flashy, loud, fast, and fun.
I don't want to post about it until I get it though, as there are some locals who watch my posts and I can't let them know what I'm bringing to the table. PM me if you want though.
BTW, the weather is insane tonight! Are the Edgewater, NJ meets still going on Thurs nights? If so, I think I'll stop by

Is there any other good spots? Possibly on different days and locations. The cold is the best time to run. MY **** is ready to wup some *** and no one is around. In the spring/summer when it starts getting to warm, I hate the heat soak on these motors but yes it is more fun to cruise around. If anyone wants to get a group together to cause havac aroung town Please let me know.

I was picking up something off a Corvette fanatic last night real quick and he mentioned Captree and how him and a whole crew go there every Sunday very very early. He said it runs year round, as long as the weather is bareable. I'm pretty pumped...can't wait.

I took a drive down there - miserable out and almost no one there. The troopers were out in force though - saw around 5 in the 15 minutes it takes me to get there. It is just getting harder and harder to have a nice car around here.

I got out to see if the restaurant was open but you were leaving when I headed back. Next time I'll introduce myself. I'm not just talking about cops there - I'm talking about seeing 5 cops/troopers from my house to captree. It's getting ridiculous. I can't go anyway without seeing cops anymore.
I think they have definitely stepped up patrol. Can't blame 'em I guess since there's a front page story in Newsday every week with some dumb a$$ killing himself or someone else.
