Swatches are actually awesome watches. Very durable, and 4 years after I bought one for $130 I took it into the steam room and it got some steam in it. Took it to the store and they gave me $130 credit on whatever I wanted. When I broke the screen they charged me $6 to replace it, and a new battery was free. As far as everyday watches go they are awesome. And their chronographs (atleast the ones I've had) have lap timers. My Mille Miglia doesn't have a lap timer.

Very nice watch but I am not as big a fan of it in the Reverso case. The only comment that I have is that I have an issue spending that much on a Jeager. I prefer to go with more esoteric brands when it comes to complicated watches BUT they are a good company. I am a little tainted by the fact that they held my Daniel Roth hostage for almost 12 months trying to sort out a service issue on the movement that they provide them with.

ROTFLMAO. Some classsic re-caps on this thread, which are pure comedy gold and self-owang3. I have not seen such levels of self-ownag3 in quite some time. Congrats!

Really? Posting a pic of a watch sitting in a car at a dealership? Self-ownag3 and exposing yourself as a poser. I am speechless.
Classics. Pure, unadulterated classics.
OMG...latter where ladder should used.
Self-ownag3.
Pure comedy. ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Here is looking to 2010, and more MBWorld comedy, posing, and self-ownag3.

My everyday beaters are either my Tag Heur S/el (purchased it in I don't know, maybe 98/99 and have never had any problems with it, and trust me, it has taken a beating!) or either one of my two IWCs that I own.
I also have a Patek Philippe that is more than 90 years old; however, it is never worn!!!
I recently added a Patek Philippe 5070p to my collection of watches and absolutely love it! It is a beautiful watch!!! I would love a Patek 5002p if anyone wants to buy it for me!!!

Spending 30 minutes thinking of witty responses including the word "self-ownag3" : good
Spending another 30 minutes carefully quoting and applying pawnag3 with aforementioned witty responses : better
Using "were" instead of "where" in demonstrating "self-ownag3" : priceless
Lelaina: Can you define "irony"?
Troy Dyer: It's when the actual meaning is the complete opposite from the literal meaning.

Ok, looks like we are putting this thread back on track. Here is my little collection.
Bought the 1st TAG Crono Link when I was 22, got water in it while on vaccation and lost the bezel. (needs recon)
2nd is my everyday TAG Formula
3rd is my TAG Aryton Senna (favorite)
4th is my Movado Sport (least favorite)
Last but not least my MB CLK got with the purchase of my 99 CLK430 back in 99
