I'm a Tag Heuer guy, love the racing heritage (Formula-One) and their overall look. I have a Monaco, F1 Indy 500 edition, and a black/silver Carrera Chrono (my favorite), and an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. All racing-inspired watches except the Omega.
My heirloom watch is an IWC Portuguese but that's in my lock-box and worn rarely, only for special occasions:

My exact model Tag (stock photo):

I tried a Rolex and found it to look waaay too old & cliche on me...although there are obviously many Rolex owners here (no offense!) who love them.

Damn, we are the most Panerai-owning mother f*ckers on the entire planet. Seems like every other guy has one. Ok, those of you with 'replicas' know who you are
, but the rest of you... I have had my Power Reserve for over a year and have only seen one other Paneristi who saw my watch and had one on himself. Then come on the board and all my MBW friends have the same (good) tastes in timepieces.
Defies the numbers that there are so many owned by us here; these things are (or at least were a year or two ago) VERY hard to get, even at full MSRP depending on the model. Their central freaking shop in Florence was completely out of ANY 44mm model with the metal band, and that's Panerai central...
Stumbled across one in the USVI, confirmed new and authentic, the price worked out well. Dealer in the USVI said he is the only authorized dealer on the island (true, I checked), and that HE is lucky if he gets more than three or four watches a year. Crazy! If you can sell 'em, ramp up production, slowly to preserve quality and not to water down the brand. But they were way too hard to find when I bought mine. Maybe the recession has changed all that?
I guess if you have a pricey car the odds are good you'll have a pricey watch. But still, Panerais? I was expecting more predictable status watches, Rolex Daytona (I want!), Submariner, etc...
Ciao,
Skeeter

The ones I wear...
...are:
Rolex SS Daytona (white dial)
Breitling Crosswind 2-tone
Omega Planet Ocean Casino Royale
Perrelet Big Date Small Second
Currently trying to decide between a Rolex GMT II-C and a Ulysse Nardin Maxi Diver.
There you go, Skeeter: not a single Panerai!!

I also got Carrera the same as couple other guys over here. I tried couple other watches, but then I just got in love with that old model Carrera automatic.

MY first decent watch was a Tag Heuer Monaco chronograph with the black face and a black leather deploy.(For sale).![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![](http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i164/wesb18dc2/DSC00055.jpg)
I also have a PAM 112 with a Rob strap![](http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i164/wesb18dc2/Panerai112.jpg)
Better pic of strap...
![](http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i164/wesb18dc2/IMG_4816.jpg)
My next piece is definitely going to be a Rolex GMT-II with the ceramic bezel. I never wear suits, only polo's and button-ups from time to time. I think that is one Rolex that can be worn with anything.
It's awesome to see so many collectors on the forum!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I forgot to add that I have a Fossil and a pretty neat automatic Seiko that I wear to work.

Ah yes.... Fossil.
I'm just not a watch guy. I can appreciate an intricate timepiece, and enjoy all of these magnificent watches on the hands of AMG guys, but I just don't wear a watch often enough. Even if I do wear one, I seem to be constantly taking it off.
On that note, I do have a Fossil that I occasionally wear on Sundays.

My daily watch is my Oris Williams F1 Lefty #715 of 1000. The Crown and buttons are located on the left side of the watch so they don't hit your hand when wrenching and tuning. Carbon fiber and titanium casing. Even came with a piece of carbon fiber from the actual Williams F1 car.

Other watches that I have are:
Rolex Explorer II
Tissot T-Touch
Tag Heuer
Skagen
I also have a Sharks Tale watch I got free with 5 UPCs but I rarely wear that one cause I want to try and keep mint as possible.
Anyone out there that is looking for a watch let me know and I may be able to get you a good deal on one. My brother owns a jewelry store here in town called Endless Time & Jewelry and he specializes in watches and watch making.

What's with all the panerais around here?
Does MBWorld make you get one and enter the serial number before you can register or something? Virtually every guy who posted in this thread has one. I honestly can't say I've ever looked at one, are they nice?

I love watches ...
Daily when I was still working
S/S Zenith Class Elite dual time with power reserve
Casual
Omega Seamaster (Blue face) - hate this face colour wish I had got black. THE most accurate watch I have though
Tag 6000 - SS Blue face, why did I get blue????
Love the strap.
Occasion
Gold&SS Rolex Daytona with black face - what a shame these don't come with a date window, still the version with the Zenith movement. The S/S version is the icon...
Gold Bulova Accutron. Not particularly attractive but my grandfathers and will never leave the family. One of the first battery wristwatches I believe, battery lasts maybe 6 months tho... !!
Oddly since being off work, have not worn a watch!
Next Purchases?
Jaguer LeCoultre - Master Geographic in Rose Gold - must have tried this one on at least 10 times in the stores when on holidays!
S/S Rolex Daytona - with date .... if they ever release it.
Zenith Chronomaster Open El Primero Retrograde - could there be a more flambouyant name ???
No collection is complete without a Patek though... but have no clue which one....old school but does it get any better?
