thought i mentioned this before in a couple of posts.

meh. i think i should get my own?
hes got the 05 E55. and made me now really want one.

back to your topic. see my problem with you isnt the fact that you price your car in the high 30s, its that you berate and seem to think that everyone who tells you their opinion of what your cars worth is wrong. is like nooo you guys are all wrong i have the nicest e55 on the planet and the midas touch and my car is worth 38k firm type of attitude.

that attitude itself and the way you have conducted yourself on this thread as well as your other one would potentially make someone who was trolling on the forums looking to buy a car turn away.

just IMO.

So what you should do in your user info in the vehicle I drive is. Put I Ride in my Brother's 2005E55LOL car maybe one day I'll have my own when I find some bone head to sell me his car way below book. Give me a break. You should not even be talking to me about my car. Your Brother's E55. That's too much!

and maybe you should put in your vehicles i drive

"ive been trying to sell this dang e55 since 10/2007 but i cant find an idiotic buyer who knows nothing about true market value to offer me 3-5k over what most other cars of the same mileage are because my E55 is special and whatever i touch automatically increases in value"

forget it. im done with you. not a chance in gods green earth will i even buy your car right now for 30k based on your attitudes and remarks, and good luck finding someone on these forums whos willing to shell out either your car or the range rover LOL after reading both these threads on how you have handled yourself.

my work here is done.

OK, but I have a question. What were you not getting when I told you in the other thread that I would not sell my car to you? Also, when you learn the midas touch, maybe you'll go somewhere. Until then, enjoy riding in your brothers E55 LOL.

Thanks Man. I can't wait to 05E55 finds the car he's been talking about is out there. It will be a 100,000 mile E320 with 55 badge's and twin straight pipe's on both sides. He will have gotten a good deal though, we all know that by now.

Russ I hope you get the $$$ you want for the car. I have watched you try to sell it on 6speedonline.com and read some of your encounters with buyers and such. Don't take this the wrong way but the reason its not selling is you. I have bought and sold many many cars in my life private party and it really comes down to first advertising then once interested parties contact you trying to find a common ground that gets the deal done. Letting several people walk and move onto another car over a few grand does you no favors. Look at how much effort and aggravation you have gone through over the past 5 months. During that time prices continue to drop and the econmy gets weeker.

The true value of the car is determined by what the buyers are willing to pay. I have to believe over the past 5 months you have had offers that you turned down. Barring the real low ballers that was the value of the car.

Thanks alot for the info and I understand the point your making. I own several stores all around the country and there are retail stores so customer service is a big part of our success. I would say that most here who have made value offferings below market really don't ni the market as well as they state. Alot of them talk about all these cars like mine for loe 30's and stuff like that. What they don't tell you is that the other car had more miles, less options and and no service history doc's. They also never speak of the condition either. The reason they don't is this. If that car had all those at the price they stated, they would own it. That's how I know there full of it. Think about it. They say I found this car and it had less miles than yours. More options than yours. Better condition than yours and the guy was going to throw in a motorcycle as well in the deal for $32K. So yours is worth 31K and I'm willing to pay that and no more. Now you tell me, does that really make since? So again I understand your point that I should work with people and be more accomadating. But that is just a feel good political way to be. It just sounds good but has know teeth. See if someone really wanted to deal on my car, there negotation approach would be alot more subtle so I would work with them. Now think about that. One last time, I do thank you for your goodwill input.

Russ
