FS: 2002 BMW M Coupe - Dinan S2

As this forum has become a used car lot and no one really seems to care, I am listing my S54 M Coupe with full Dinan package. It is one of 690 cars built in '02 and extremely rare as it is a serial numbered Dinan car and there are not many of these.

Now that I am done with the dirty work, I move that we do something to keep people from posting cars for sale here...THEY BELONG IN THE CLASSIFIED SECTION!!!!!!!!!

I have been a member here since almost the beginning (only 3 months under this username though) and the forums have never been "for sale" boards. I don't mind an E55 here and there but a Range Rover, Porsche, etc is ridiculous, even if you are a contributor and an E55 owner.

Then why did you post a for sale then? You crack me up Now you have no integrity anymore. People like you trip me out. You complain about something then go and join the crowd. Maybe issue there?

By the way, your car is not worth $36K. It's probally high 20's at best. Most people are not into cars that look like Tadpol's. All those mods cannot help a tadpol car, but good luck with the sale.

The only reason they only sold that few of the Tadpole car was nobody wanted them. That's also when they brought in Chris Bangle to BMW becuase Migule ****zengragle was making cars that looked like amphibians and again nobody wanted them. I will give you an E for "Effort" in your sales pitch. That was a Good ONE:conf used:

Almost always, whenever someone says their car is rare, you know they are asking too much. You also know that exclusivity is probably the only redeeming quality of the car.

I personally did not have much success with cars.com, their search feature is horrible. You might want to put it on autotrader and ebay, you'll get far more offers.

Thanks for the advice and that has been my experience as well. I usually post on all 3 (ebay motors, cars.com, and autotrader), it has never taken me longer then 3 weeks to sell a car using all 3.

Well, for starters, they sold plenty of M Coupes and Roadsters. There are only 690 '02 cars because they only produced a half years worth of M Z3 cars due to the body change.

Chris Bangle's designs have created such controversy that S54 M Coupes are selling for as much as used Z4 M Coupes which are selling poorly. A nice E39 M5 is still $38-42K with the E60 hitting the $58-62K range already despite the superior running hardware and falling fast.

I also noticed your references to Clarkson in one of your other posts...the M Coupe was one that he was greatly fond of. Not that that means anything.

BTW, Since you are glad to point out the flaws in my car, I will give it a shot on one of yours...your 996 is a glorified Boxster. Real Porsches like the GT3, GT2, and TT use true dry sump engines with the air cooled case from the GT1. A water cooled Boxster motor in an $80-90K car is nuts. For $40K more I got a real Porsche, with a real motor, and real running hardware (996 GT3).

Okay, I am done acting like a childish *** now but I may still post my Dale Ernhardt underwear for sale.

We'll you better sell what you can because you will not get the $36K for the Tadpol. In regards to the Porsche, I bought it as secondary play car with the cab* roof. Not trying to be a poser street racer. It's a real beauty and next to that weird tadpole M car it looks even better.
