They should post run conditions and all three methods, sae, std and uncorrected. It is the best way imho so that people can see all the info concerning the runs.
The final run looks rough does it smooth out by changing the x-axis to speed, if it does the tach signal was erratic.
Either way Jim take that beast to the track and have some fun buddy.

Jim's car has some really sticky, race tires on it (Yokos I think) which are pretty low on tread.. Those erratic lines are the tires spinning and slipping on the dyno.
I think the car would of put down some better numbers had it had a normal tire on the rear of the car. I was hoping to have a car that we could swap out the rear tires on and put them on Jim's car for the dyno but we couldnt get anything.
I'll tell you one thing, I drove Lee's VR675 car, parked it, and jumped into Jim's car because I wanted to see the difference (I drove both just behind the shop from a dead stop to 80mph).. Jim's car got there alot faster.. Jim's car feels ALOT more powerful than the VR675 car.. The front of the car lifts up and feels like the tires want to come off the ground when you get on the power. It also sweeps through the tach faster than the VR675 car.
I know Jim lives at altitude, but when he gets a chance to get to a decent track I am looking forward to his 1/4mile times because the car is an outright animal.

I took a quick video yesterday so I could give you guys an idea of what it sounds like now with the new headers in place, the new blower, and the tuning done...
It has blower whine, it makes sounds like it has a blow off valve venting boost, and the cams and headers just make it sound like its got 1000hp under the hood. It's really crazy actually because you don't expect this in a benz...
I recorded this with my Canon SD750 camera so Im not sure how well the sound came out (I cant tell because my little X60 laptop has crappy speakers on it)..
Here is a link to a short idle video (right click save as and download it)..

We took off his Kleemann headers and put on the VRP longtubes. Jim has the current 1.75" version.
There is a NEW VRP longtube being built right now which is a stepped 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" which is in another VR700 car. That car will be coming down in a few weeks for its dyno tuning so we can see the differences between the 2 packages.

hahahahahahah.... I can assure you no one was doing burnouts... lol..
Maybe I'm just used to seeing regular tires and those suckers look like they have less tread on them. but man are they sticky... especially when you do a brake launch at 4,500RPM.. it just goes... LOL.. I KID I KID...
I honestly dont know how you drove that car in the WINTER to the dyno... You are one brave soul! I'd be scared to drive them in the rain.. lol..

Nah, just busting chops. They had a few miles on them. They were Jody's tires before his car......well you know.
Literally teared up seeing my baby again after all this time. Wife comes in asking what is wrong and I told her, "This is MY teary chick flick". She just walked out shaking her head. Women just don't get guys and cars.
SO excited to get her home and I really regret not being able to drag her down there at sea level now. I apologize to all you guys for not being able to show off the VRP700 at the track. Maybe this fall out in MD or somethin.
Thanks again Victor and Vadim!!

Tearing up huh... Bring some kleenex next time you drive it then because you will need it!
Seriously Jim... I've driven all kinds of crazy cars and this E55 of yours with the way it's setup is just plain NUTS. I thought the 2.82 gears would be a bad thing to have with this much power but I actually like the setup.. It gets into the powerband so fast and just pulls and pulls...

I knew it would work.. you just dangle the carrot and wait... lol..
Don't worry Lee.. Your car is coming back a very fast car.. Just know that when you do eventually crave more power, we can step you up another notch into the VR700 package.. We've got the roadmap all laid out..
Let me know when the car makes it home..
