I'd go with the "I'll bet that thing is fast!" line. Get him bragging. "how fast have you taken it?" Get him lying. Then either call him out on it the next time you see him with anyone who he looks like he cares about (girlfriend, boyfriend, whatever) and make him look like the true idiot that he is. If you are really good, you can get him to the track and race him for money... not too much, just enough to make him look like a complete poser or a reaaaalllly bad driver when you smoke him in your supposedly slower car. E550s are pretty damn quick, when I first drove one I was kinda shocked and wondering if the extra 30k was worth it for the car I had just ordered (the dealer gave me a loaner while I waited for my 63). Yeah, it was worth it...

Just ask him to see his engine. Tell him you've always wanted to see what a handmade AMG one man, one engine looks like in person. I'd ask it just to see what his excuses are for you not to see it.

Come on a poser knows he is a poser and its best to let him dream on then to cause him to feel like an idiot cause his neighbor knows his game.

ok, i love to read poser threads on here from time to time. its just way too much fun.
i have recently moved to a new place, and i see my neighbor who drives W211 as well. (E320 to be exact) but has some 19 or 20 inch wheels, quad exhaust (one of those ebay, really bad looking without bumper cut outs if you know what i mean) and of course he has E55 AMG badge in the back.
and thats it, bumpers and everything else is E320 stock.
i saw him before (has a strange work schedule, i dont see him too often) and was thinking: huh...another poser, oh well. never gave it too much of a thought.
well, tonight i was washing my car in the driveway with my buddy while my neighbor was pulling into his garage. my buddy was like oh, look E55. I told him to go ask him if it was AMG, just for fun. My buddy refused, and called be an ***. I felt guilty.
so i tell my neighbor hi, and ask him how is he doing, without any sarcasm what so ever.
in return i get this funny look from him, and while he glances at my just washed and waxed car tells me "So Far, So Good!" and he does it with the most snubish expression on his face (like yeah, dude keep washing your sorry *** car, while wanting my E55). as he was saying it, he closed his garage door.
i was shocked! i really dont care what kind of badges ppl put on their car, but this guy turned out to be a total looser.
My buddy who was washing his 6er Bimmer with me, was like dam dude!
i am sad now... it sucks to have this kind of neighbors.

There's a lot of posers in Miami, and i mean a lot. But most of the time the people are cool tho, I saw this dude the other in a "C23" AMG which was basically a C230 with rims and exhaust. Asked if he wanted to race for fun and his answer was that his supercharger was having problems!!

I think an official "poser ticket" is in order. The ticket below was created for "Jap Scrap" and I issued more than a few citations in the greater LA area.
I know of several cars right now that I could cite for poor taste due to "AMG badge on car not so equipped!"

It's your call... But, if it were me. I would give him the benefit of the doubt first... That way you can launch a swift counterstrike with a clear conscience if need be... If he gives you one sideways glance or so much as a smack of the gums in your direction. Launch the patriot missiles and drop the ownage bombs. Show him no mercy!

"Sausage", he was kidding on...and go check your eyes
220S clearly has a real debadged AMG and is joking around that he's "posing" by laying in wait to catch out unsuspecting badge ******.

I lived in Florida & thought it was decent...and thought the beaches & weather was pretty good...then I moved to So Cal, and I realize how ignorant about the whole situation I was.
Miami is a fun visit for partying but the humidity...ugh, no thanks.

Car Whore
I love Florida actually!
I grew up in Wellington
When I came to California when I was 17 I noticed how much more wussy everyone was here. I heard things from kids still in school at the time like, "there's a gate thats closed, we cant skip school".
Ha... in FL we used to scale and jump the fence while being chased down by truancy police through neighborhoods, like 3-4 times a week!!
I'm actually always bringing up the fact about how much more 'tough' FL is than CA.

I'm currently on business in Florida, on the Space Coast and people scurry when I walk by I guess I can be a little "angry" looking at times, but I don't think I've seen this many passive people in a LONG time.
I won't go much into detail on my feelings of Florida since this is my first time here and to be fair I think I'm in a pretty crappy part. It is rather redneckish out here where I'm at. I ventured out to West Palm and Palm Beach and some of the areas down there were quite nice. I still can't get over the weather though, this humidity blows!! Not to mention it's rained like 60% of the time since I've been here (2 weeks).

All I know is that I CANNOT WAIT for 001kz to finally confront his douchebag neighbor and call him out for his poser AMG. Douches like this need, nay--REQUIRE--to be called out on their douchebaggery.
The guy obviously knows he's busted by a real owner...just fess up to it brah! He must be thinking, "F, I had a sweet deal working until some dude with a REAL AMG showed up, now I'm outed!"
Good luck w/your neighbor 001kz. I'm not sure I'd be able to keep my mouth shut this long...if he's going to be a d*ck and snub you trying to be friendly, may as well let him reaaaally dislike you

And what exactly is your advice anyway?
Call me old-fashioned, but I think people should be polite to one another regardless of whether you get to know them or not. Your comment seems to imply that I have some responsibility to get to know people just in order to avoid being treated rudely, and I think that's total BS.
I'm polite to everyone until I have a reason not to be, and I expect the same in return. Most of the time, I don't get it....hence my comment.
