Whats The Deal Wit These Tires?
Whats the deal with Vredstein tires? Are they very good tires like the ps2's or are they ok? The reason why I ask is because about a year or so ago, I was shopping for tires on ebay and wanted to get a good set of name brand tires and I kept seeing the Vredstein's comming up as extremely cheap tires. They looked really good but I was skeptical cause they were so cheap and out of no where everyone has these tires now and the prices are triple of what they were a year ago. just curious

from what I heard they are like Falken and Toyo which are great tires, still great tires for everyday performance use, if you are not autocrossing they should be just fine

If I remember correctly, they are from Europe(I forgot which country it is from).
My friend owns a tune shop and he said they are pretty good and cheap.
He uses them on his Audi A4 and installs them on G35, 350Z etc.

I've had two sets on my E55 and they were great... they were the first version sent to the states. Now I think they have gone through three or four generations... I will get them again once I get my alignment issues resolved

I've got the Vredestein 20" Sessanta on my E55 and I love them. I used to have stock conti sport contacts 2's and they were the worst tires I've ever owned. The contis were noisy and transferred road vibrations into the car. I did a lot of research on the Sensatta's and they won a tire shootout in Europe. IMO, my Sensatta's feel like running MSP2's. They're smooth, have plenty of grip, and don't transfer road vibration into the car. For the price, they can't be beat. My only criticism is that they don't have them in the size I need for my X5.

i've heard great things about them as well from the SRT guys. A lot of them are running them on their 300c's and chargers and they boast about them.
On a side note, my spare tire is a vredstein....albeit it's the ugliest donut i've seen.
