Street racing is bad.
III II I AMG, what the hell is wrong with you bro? Keep it in S, put it in 2nd and at least you won't get as embarassed as before. Geeze, you should have come to me for advice before the race.

Not trying to fan the flames here but I am a little tired of this straight-line stuff. I take my M6 to the track do the AMG track their cars at proper racetracks?
Just curious, I only usually see other BMWs and Porsches and the occasional Ferrari dude driving slow but looking spectacular in his custom suit and painted helmet.
Anyone here track their AMG?
Here are some other videos shot in Mexico

Also tracks are nice, but so are 1/4 mile runs. Each person might prefer a different type of environment to drive their car in.
If your bimer was a 1/4 monster i believe you would be singing a different tune.
I am happy you enjoy your track day , doesn't mean other people can't enjoy their car pastimes to

you laugh about straight line stuff yet you post 3 links of you doing nothing but that...

Whoa tiger. I was just asking if AMG owners tracked their cars around racetracks.

yo wtf you all sound so immature i swear like a buncha ****ing loosers , m6 is faster than e55 stock vs stock from a roll and every1 knows that and modded m6 will eat stock e55 it has 480 whp and e55 469 crank hp , wtf is there to compare , and the video is just for fun , ye i know the bmw dudes would react just like that and even worse saying the driver was bad , but you all shouldn't be like that

I don't bite and i am not meaning to , but I have seen how you react to posts like these and let me say there would be walls and walls of sarcastic pokes and ridiculing going on.
You've made your views of Audi’s Ferrari’s & other cars clear...their rubbish in a sense compared to a so-called brand name
As for tracking cars, yes i believe some do, but over all i do no think many owners (high %) track these cars (this goes for both bimmer and merc camps)
(On topic)
I agree some people need to chill on the vid, as i mentioned before it was stated it was modded , seems E55 driver also needs a bit more practice from reading the posts, but regardless M should win on rolls if its modded properly.
Might have a better chance from a dig

Mercedes typically is too heavy, but cars like the C32 and CLK BS as well the SLK and lightermodels do very well.

There are a handful of road course types, some incredible drivers, I have also Tracked my CLS at Spring Mountain and Willow Springs, I was handed my arsh more than a few times by Bimmers, purpose built 325's and 318's and some M3's.

Thank you for the first straight answer. No doubt I will get beat by purpose built cars on the track but I have leather, lots of it.

I like M6 its much more fun to drive then E55 but I love to drive E55 with all that torgues, especially in the city and everyday...With little touch of the throtle the beast flyX and mod M6 cant catch ME only after 140-150

I don't. If I had the time and cash for a track hobby, I'd be doing it in something a bit more engaging. As much as I enjoyed flogging E55's around Lime Rock at the AMG Challenge, it is not something I would try with my own car.

I met up with another member here and we took a short drive to mexico for a few friendly runs. First is about 30-115 and second run is 50-125. We planned on doing a dig too but didnt have time. Were still gonna do it soon though. My car has evo headers, AA exhaust/ecu, RPI scoops and BMC filters. It dynoed at 480rwhp.
