Time Slips
I just came back from the track a little while ago
, I did a lot better today, 1st run was cool, I ran against my cousin's S65, and lost but ran 12.69 ET@115.33mph, which is way better that wed's time, which was 12.70@112.58 mph, but today's last run was great, I guess I'm getting the hang of it a little better, I mean really, I'm running in sac, with street 35% life left tires, 91 octane (no spare or tools), and I got my new best time, I ran 12.18@114.72mph. Below are my time slips for wed, and from 2day. I hope you can read them.

This must be an invisible thread.
All these views, and only one comment before mine. I guess whether you have ripped seats or not in the SL55 thread has a lot more appeal than your performance in your S55 at the track.
Anyway, it was a great time, except for all the dragsters that took forever to run and finish. We definitely have to go when there isn't a race the following day. I feel like we could have done so much better, but its that darn launch. I guess we have to keep working at it. Anyway, as long as we keep getting better times, I guess its all good.

Sorry guys for not commenting,.
Great times and very good 60 ft time on your 12.18 pass!!!!
You see thats where you pass or fail.
The track at Infineon is great but apparantly there is alot of wind blowing in the afternoon directly at you.
You will get better and better and it will become very frustrating but also offer many peaks and good times.
Improve the 60 ft times and you will have an 11 second S55

For an E55 it is very impressive but for the much heavier S55, it is incredible. I wonder if this is a record for the S55.

.......the thread was about an S55, not E55 doing 12.18 in the 1/4 mile which is amazing.

Thanks Juicee, and Ted, I'm thrilled, and pumped, I want to go to the track as much as I can, can't wait to see it in high 11s, I don't care how high? Believe it or not that 12.18 ET was with ESP off, I just hooked, No idea what I did.

Its funny, when he got done running his 12.18 in his S55, I asked him what he did, because I wanted to see if I can run that good of a time in my S65. However, after I tried to duplicate his method, I was sitting on the line just spinning my wheels and not going anywhere with the ESP off. Ballzy did something right, because he took off like a rocket, whereas I stood still. I guess what works for others doesn't work for some. Back to the drawing board I guess.
I was curious myself when I posted in the beginning, as to why there were no comments.

Ted

we all need to post our slips and as much detail as possible about when, where, and how.
There are a couple sites that will host your pics, vids, slips
www.dragtimes.com
www.myslips.com
Only way to ever improve is to learn from others and to disseminate the available info for comparitive analysis to your run.
Give dragtimes as much detail as possible, in the comments you can list track conditions, weather, anything you think aided or hindered your run, even your experience level.
"2nd time running my S55 I went 12.18"
Good job keep at it, you will get addicted and look to this board for your fix , LOL

Fricking unbelievable time for the heavier S55. I hate to bring up the past but isn't your car the one that got totally ****kedd up very recently such that it needed all sorts of repairs because the tuner screwed it all up? There was talk in that thread of taking your ECU back to stock and problems with the pulley. Hell the car had severe problems. Now all of a sudden you have one of the fastest 1/4 mile times for an S55 ever. I guess a time slip goes a long way but somehow I'm just somewhat skeptical. Please pardon me all over the place if I'm getting your car mixed up with another car.
