2010 E550.. Gone but never forgotton - E63 AMG..
Question Amg 5.5 Liter Na V8 ?

This is kind of confusing. Is this the engine that goes into the E550 ?
If so why is it classified as an AMG ? Am I missing something ?
Once you're on the site, go to the engine room and click on the 5.5L-V8 engine and read.

That is the engine found on the W210 E55, CL55 non supercharged, S55 non supercharged, the SLK55, C55 and CLK55.

Thanks for the reply. I thought that all of the 55 engines were supercharged.

And Mercedes plans to reduce the displacement if the 63 to 5.5 just to add to the confusion.

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
