Active Headrest DVD players....

I did a search, but didn't come up with anything--which surprised me. Anyway, does anyone have any info on a system for the active restraints in the E63's? Vizualogic had one, but due to installation problems (which they are working on) they took it off of the market--E class only though. The system is the A-1250. Does anyone know of any other manufacturers who make a similar system? The dealership has someone they use, but that system actually cuts two holes in the seat to mount the DVD player. The holes can be plugged, but I am concerned with that method as my E63 is a lease. Any info or anyone using a current solution (even if it is a portable mounted to the seat some way--as long as it looks good) would be appreciated. Pics please if possible. Thanks all.

To be honest I think TV's in the headrests are very 1999, and especially moot in an AMG. If your passengers aren't excited without the TV's, apply more throttle.

LOL---that is funny...I don't know about 1999 though, maybe more 2003...anyway, my 15 month old really doesn't care how much throttle I apply--at least not yet--as long as Elmo is playing. I traded in my 07 997 TT for the E63as I needed more family friendly transportation. Plus, as long as him and my wife are in the car, it is probably more responsible to keep it under 100 mph.

This is very true. Keep it safe with the kid in the car and good luck on your search, I'm sure some of the A/V goons here will be able to help you out. There isn't anything someone on this forum hasn't done with their AMG, except crush Simon Cowell's skull, and I'm sure that'll happen sooner or later knowing my Cali folk.
