Cat & Resonators Delet
Well I took my S to local mffler shop, and got my secondary cats removed, and instaled a flowmaster X pipe, and got the resonators also deleted, and subbed with straight pipes. I love it, the tech at the shop I should expect any where from 25-35 hp gain, and the car just sounds awsome, it's hard to discribe, but when ideling it's calm, little deep, but not noticably diffrent, but when I punch it, man it sounds crazy, It's a lot louder deeper, and also its got that scream to it, it sounds bad A$$.
My SL, had resonators removed but I'm deffinetly gonna do the cats, and X pipe this weekend.

I don't think there is a problem, and I won't need smog untill 2012, I don't even know if I'll still own the car. Pluse it's easy, keep your cats, when it's time for smog, go put'em back on. As for the Vid I'll try to do it today.

Vid please. I dropped my resonator and muffler just to hear the sound and it was rediculously loud. I have a vid of it but I'm waiting for my friend to email it to me. Dont know how good the quality is though.

I did my S65 along with Ballzy yesterday. I only had my mufflers removed and a straight pipe put in instead along with new tips. I must say, the sound is awesome. It is very loud at WOT, and a little louder at idle, but very noticable compared to before. I definitely love it. Ballzy's car sounds insane.

No problem, I'm not just saying that but really that vid does the sound no justice, but I wanted to share with everyone, and I just grabbed my digital camera and had my buddy tape it, to post it on here.

but he said 25-35 hp gain at the least.

The clip sounds good! I don't think it is too loud as it really only barks at you under hard acceleration and there is so much sound deadening in the E55 that it is stll pretty quiet inside the car even with a full throttle run.
