I believe any time below 12.0 you are "required" to have a roll cage......great times!

Do they give you a banishment document with your time slip?
If you going to get kicked out thats the way to do it.

-asp pulley
-ff (vrp) headers/exhaust
-vrp 80mm tb
-slr cams
-ff heat exchanger
-kleemann ecu (but cory still needs to send me a proper tune)

i should be able to run 11.3's here if i wasn't too lazy to add some ice (where's josh's ice truck when you need it!), so close to 11 flat at a sea level track isn't too far off.

I hope to someday have this problem.

Congrats on an awsome time, and the strong beast you've created.

no i run on d/r's but honestly it's only to save my street tires. i run fairly consistant 1.71's on my toyo t1r's which is right there with my typical 1.70-1.71 that i almost always run on the mickey thompsons. so i guess on rare occasion the d/r's are worth 1 or 2 100ths.

i really believe it's the new tq limiter software from that recall/reflash that prevents the d/r's from providing improved 60ft times.

they changed it? with nhra rules, it used to be 11.99 and lower you needed a 6-pt. cage, a fire jacket, and a scatter shield.
i got kicked out a few times in my old car at e-town.

Dr. Mikey can drive...

Hard to beleive they enforce the "roll bar crap" when the car your driving has a steel roof, air bags, pre-safe, crumple zones. May as well put in a bar and wrap it
in leather...

GREAT RUN MAN..

soon we shall have the battle of the western modded

What order did you go in on these mods and would you do it differently next time?

At the Bradenton Desoto raceway they start kicking people off @ anything below 12's w/o rollcage.

i went:

pulley, headers/exhaust, ecu, 80mm tb, slr cams, and lastly my heat exchanger project. contrary to popular belief regarding the heat exchanger, i think that's the perfect order if you're looking for power.

i modded in that order because of these reasons. pulley is the best bang for the buck. imo, headers/exhaust work better at relieving heat than a heat exchanger at this point with the bonus of adding good power. ecu is needed with headers. tb is now a signifiant compliment to the first two bolt-ons. slr cams were a little extra power and fun to make work properly. and the heat exchanger maintains hp for runs longer than the 1/4mile...like when beating the **** out of m5's (oops, did i just say that out loud ).

Last question Mike since you obviously have it DOWWWWWNNN!!!

Launch from a dead stop (no gas etc) or slightly load up the convertor???

Let's settle this once and for all.

1.6 60ft........nuff said.
