Well, I've had the E55 for a couple of weeks now and it's getting better all the time. The power loss thing which happened a couple of times seems to have cured itself, but I'm still going to get a CM30 just to be sure. Maybe it's me getting better and not the car. The power is breathtaking compared to my SL500 which I used to think was quite quick. The dynamic seats are fantastic and now I'm learning to trust the Distronic I'm amazed how smoothly it slows and accelerates when required. What a Jekyll and Hyde car this is. Smooth, quiet and docile or a fearsome beast, but you guys know that, it was your views that decided this purchase. There were two cars I had to choose between. One was black which I would have liked, but it had no options at all. The one I bought is silver with blue and black leather. I didn't want silver as it was going to replace a silver W211 E320 CDi Avantgarde, but it had £9500 in factory options so that decided it for me. Good choice, I love it. One of the plus points of divorce is that now I can have the toys that I want. Anyway, thanks to all of you for all the help and info on here. Nick.
