is that suprising to you? 03-05 MB cars were some of the worst that were ever produced, of course they'll be bad CPO cars..

Its surprising to me as I've had very little problems from my E, hope it stays that way.

 

not surprised. just sharing what i read/found on the net...i've owned my e for 5 yrs now and the only problem i had with it are factory recalls...with that being said...good luck to you and your E

 

my E rides really firm and rattle free.

The only issues are the TPMS, jerky transmission and my chirping on my kompressor.

all fixed under CPO.

The paint and interior finish has aged very well.

I think the E is 50% better than my w203 C32.. (as expected)

The car is not perfect, but for a 5 year old car it looks and drives better than most japanese/american new cars (except Lexus)

 

I once had a CPO 2001 ML430 -- Worst car Evah! I swore I would never ever buy another MB product after that. And yet somehow I got talked into a '07 E63.

So far so good, and the build quality does seem much improved, i'm hoping for the best. My wife has a whole bag of "I told you So s" and she's just dying to use them.
