Enzom does it again!

Prolly does not even care but his,

11.92@118.72 recorded on 3/10/2008 @Atco was the fastest any stock E/55/E63 has ever travelled down the 1/4 mile.

So Enzom's 55 has achieved the QUICKEST ET 11.775 and the Fastest trap 118.72 and certainly would have broken his record had tire rack sent the appropriate gear for mounting his Kosei rims and drag rads.

Great pass

Josh - Thanks for the kudos, but you are mixing up your data. Yesterday, the only timeslip of mine that I found in the pile of slips showed an 11.922 @ 118.05. My fastest trap of 118.79 was run last year.

I have written off yesterday as if I wasn't running. That's how undrivable the car was.

And since I am no longer on street tires, I can't compare what I may have run on DR's to what I actually ran on street rubber. Not a fair comparison, IMO. And that's not to say that my times would have necessarily been better on the DR's yesterday. It may take me a dozen passes to figure out what tire pressure works best. Maybe I need higher pressures on DRs because too much grip makes me bog a bit. Only testing will help me there.

But my lugs and centering rings arrived today!!!!

I have a slip for car #100 says 11.921@118.72 , thats YOU , has to be..your 60 ft was much worse so the fact is had you hit your 1.71 as per usual you would have been oh my , anyway , it must be said

YOUR 118.79 and 118.72 are the fastest as far as I can tell.

Enzom, you have class man, you have an amazing 55 and man you will master those BFG's after a couple more runs with the centering rings and proper LUGS!!

Ha! I never even saw that slip. Such was my shock and disgust at realizing that I had wasted (1) $939, (2) a day off, and (3) a two hour drive. I don't even remember the run, but I was car 100.

275/35 18's.

The wheel does not rest snugly on the hub ring. It needs an adapter that allows the wheel to fit in a position that is naturally centered on the hub. And I was using factory lugs, but I think the centering ring was the bigger issue.

Agreed Enzom's 55 is freak.

I know your pain Lorenzo, man and trust me I wanted you to have a record smashing day as well.

On my last visit to the strip, my battery died? something car was dead as a 10 day old tuna, starter was like "Line up, last pass" My carwas locked and there was no way to get in, boy did I feel stupid. I destroyed my key and used the manual key, guy put a power pack on the car and I rushed outonto the line, 56 degrees , perfect and I rushed the burnout, and failed.

Your times are so good it will take a run with no mistakes, and a perfect day.
Same goes for Jason, the bar is so High , there is simply no room for any problems

The lugs are definitely different. The difference between the weights of the wheels/tires is very noticeable. Putting them on and taking them off shows the difference.

Thanks, but those times have to be off by at least 3/10ths from what could have been.

Yes YOU DO, get one back 4 the West....

Sac is fasterthan Infineon, Infineon is a million times nicer, but the wind kills trap and ET. Prep also was suspect maybe hit that track on a test and tune cool Saturday. You should go to SAC saturday and get that stock trap record
