Front air suspension failure?

Well driving normally today, well that means not really speeding or going too slow on a side street when I went over the metal trench crossing they use to cover the street when they are cutting in the road... well nothing too bad it was about an inch deep dip or so, and after that... WARNING light came on saying STOP CAR TOO LOW... I stopped thinking I had a flat or something, but both front tires where fine... then I notice the body was sitting on them... WHAT happened??? Car now heading down to dealer.

I hate the idea of the "total collapse" , Mercedes could have put stops that would let the car at least roll.

Yea, it's covered... but it was still a bummer. They gave a new C300 to cruise around right now.

I had one of those as a loaner for a week, and I was amazed. It's a pretty cool little car.

Really a big step up for them....made me think maybe they're finally starting to shed the chryslerized design philosophies. If the new E-class is as much of a step ahead as this new C-class is, then you guys will quickly grow to like it.

Did you try just shutting the car down and restarting it? If had the light come on when I hit a real deep dip in the road at speed, but it goes away when I restart.

How was the C300?
