Renntech ELM problem ! Please help !!
Hi All,
I just have the Renntech ELM installed by VRP for my 03 S55 w/ABC, but the ELM is working for only front side, the rear side will rise when I press the vehicle level control switch, but it shold lower down when I press the switch again(which is red led lights went off ). The front side is wroking fine, but the rear is always rise on highest level !!
Untill I switch the ELM off, It will go back stock height for both front and rear, whats going on ?? I trust VRPs installation, they double check the wireing and everything, the installation is very easy, it can't be worng right ?? Anyone have the same problem ?? I know this is the E55 forum, but there are a lot more E55 with ELM than W220. thanks in advance !!

I hope they didn't get bit by the mistake in the manual that I found...
Check this thread I posted a while back: https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....3&postcount=13
Maybe the S has the same wiring issue? If each corner is not moving together in unison either there is a fault with the module or one of the wires may be incorrect..
Bring it back to the shop and have them double-check it... it shouldnt do what you are describing.

I remember when getting my ELM installed, I had an issue with the front lowering but the rear was unaffected. We then found out the wiring schematics were incorrect on the manual. I coundn't tell you what exactly was done to correct it, but I do know the manual is wrong. This is ofcourse on my 06 S65.

Thanks guys , I will look the wireing again, that make sense, because front is fine but rear will NOT lower at all,not even back to normal level unless I turn off the ELM !! the S65 has the ABC just like my S55 !!

You are right about the wrong manual for the rear, I double check the rear wiring, its all correct according from the manual, now I need correct ECU diagram for ABC sensor, do I can find the correct pin number to hook up the correct wire for rear ABC sensor, everyone have info about the diagram for W220 ABC control ECU ??
