Low Battery Warning... Speedo display...
OK, so I went out to the car last night and the speedo display says Low Battery Warning and something about comfort features being disabled. The weather has been really lousy lately, so this cas has not seen a lot of use.
Not wanting to get stranded out there, I took the CLK instead.
I read somewhere that if I call M-B roadside assitance, they will come out and replace the battery. The car is under original factory warranty.
Given all the bad crap I have read about M-B service, is this true or just a wives-tale?

its true.
The battery may be bad.
When I had the battery problem, I had to jump start the car a few times because it was completely dead.
If you are is under warranty, they will replace it for you.
If it is under CPO warranty, they will rip you off for a battery coz its not covered.
You can buy and install yourself for 150 bucks.

It is a warranty fix if you go in with the original battery.

The same light came on in my E55 2 days ago. I took it in to the dealership and when I got it back they said they updated the software and its fine now. God knows what those ****** do when they get their hands on our cars.

Check that the cables are attached firmly (try wiggling them side to side). Mine gave the warning and were slightly loose. Tightened and it never came back. Of course mine is an 06.
