Does anyone have a DIY guide to changing the serpentine belt? Also, does anyone know at what interval this belt should be changed?

I don't know the interval, but i assume you are talking about the accessory belt and not the SC belt.
The Accessory belt has a pulley that you simply pull and tighten (old school style). The SC belt has a tensioner that simply loosens and releases the belt. You will need a 17mm for the SC one (I dunno the fraction one that works).

You sure about that? On mine(2005) both belts were tensioned by similar spring loaded tensioners.Originally Posted by jangy

I know it was a lot harder to find than the supercharger tensioner. BrianS sent me a picture with the two tensioner bolts(not really bolts but bolt heads) circled. I still had trouble finding the one for the serpentine belt, but it is there. Both take a 12pt 17mm.
