Maximum Wheel Width & Tire Size?
Hey Guys,
I'm on the verge of ordering a set of rims but I'm a bit confused as to how wide I can go assuming I get the Renntech ELM. Here's the setup that was recommended to me by all the salespeople:
Front Wheels: 20x9 | Front Tires: 245/30/20
Rear Wheels: 20x10.5 | Rear Tires: 285/25/20
I'm pretty confident that the rear will fit well, but I was hoping to go wider in the front. However, all the salespeople keep telling me that 245 up front is the widest I can go.
I don't kind flaring my fenders a little bit if need be, but I don't want ot to be flared to the point where the car looks weird. Does anyone have wider wheels/tires upfront? Has anyone flared the fenders to fit wider wheels?
