Great article on W211 E55 in Autoweek
Estimated price of $75,000, average 18mpg, available in April or May - wow - all GREAT news!!! If any of this is true, the RS6 is going to have some real trouble when it is released in September with 444hp at $81k plus...

Anyone contemplating buying an RS6 better be prepared to eat a huge chunk of depreciation from day one.
While the M5 and E55 will depreciate readily as well, the RS6 will be a depreciation nightmare.
It's beyond me why anyone would want to buy an RS6.
It's not within Audi's market niche, the entire Audi marque lacks the cache to attract and maintain high end buyers, and the RS6 has no lineage on which to build its reputation.
On a much smaller scale, the RS6 will be the Infiniti Q45 or Merkur of the luxury sport sedan arena.
