whats the redline on the cars?

Anyone else?
It should be more than 20 with the headers, I have seen guys get 45-50, 70 is possible with an agressive tune. Vadim what do you think :-). 50 reasonable?Originally Posted by DFW01E55
I wanna' believe you're right but when the AFR leaned out with the headers, I figured the yield from a tune decreased too. I thought maybe 20 hp but your numbers are better.Anyone else?

On the run with headers, IMHO, the car went into cats protection mode and dumped a whole lot of fuel to keep them alive, this why there are no power gains.
Make sure there is enough air from the fans and adequate time between runs for the car to cool down. This is why I frequently use 3rd gear on 55s. There is simply not enough airflow in most dyno rooms to keep 500HP car cooled properly at 150 plus.

If it was dumping fuel, shouldn't the AFR be richer?Originally Posted by Vadim @ VRP

Agree on the ventilation, there were a couple of weak fans.
