I have heard of them and I have heard mixed results. My old world (Audi) board seemed to have pretty good luck with them but my dealer said -- no way, they are a pain in the A$$. My current aftermarket service contract is with Easycare (APCO) (you can google easycare and find it). Easycare is what my local MB dealer sells for non-cpo cars. I had an Easycare SC on my old S8 and they paid the shop directly with no problem. Hope this helps, the best bet is CPO, of course. Oh, and make sure and get the highest labor rate you can get, I hear some SC contracts will only pay $75.00 per hour -- uh, yeah, not for working on a BEAST!!!
