All this magazine hype has gotten me very excited. I just hope that the mid-70's is more realistic than 80's for MSRP. The only two things that remain are choosing the color and deciding on European delivery or US. Has anyone seen Black opal or Jade black metallic? Any thoughts on Capri or Midnight Blue, or should I stick to Silver or basic black? I realize this is completely personal preference, but I'm interested in other's opinions.

I was interested in Euro delivery early on and was told it was not available for the E55, but I didn't actually contact MB-USA to verify this.

If Euro delivery is available, I'd opt for that just to get the beast out on the autobahn. And especially if a discount can be had, but I didn't think MB was offering that on Euro delivery AMG models.
As for color, can't go wrong with the classics - silver or black. But I like this car better in dark colors, and black is such a pain to keep flawless. Maybe obsidian black or midnight blue. However, the jade black looks very stunning! Would need to see it live in the metal on an E55 or E-class before deciding for sure.
