2005 BMW M3 for now
2006 E55 AMG questions
so a local dealership here has a really nice E55AMG
silver exterior, black interior.
2006.
13,XXX miles
they are asking $65k for the car
its still under warranty for 4 yrs/50k miles. so another 22 months and 36,XXX miles left.
its fully loaded.
pano
active seats
keyless go
sticker was 95k or so.
i was wondering what a good deal on this car would be.
its bone stock and in pretty good shape.
went and checked out the car and test drove it today.
also, if any of you have access to auction prices, what does an 06 E55 AMG go for on the auctions?
i was thinking about offering 50k and starting the negotation there. the stock wheels are in good shape. no rash. just a couple of minor nicks. its got contis that look like they have 40-50 percent tread left. id like to try to get those replaced before buying.
car is also due for service. i think its service D? would like to get that taken care of before buying as well.
any opinions and info would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

2007 E63
I was looking a very similar one with slightly fewer miles. The dealer was asking $62,000. He called me one day and offered me the car for $57,000 but I had already moved on a 2007 E63. I'm sure I could have gotten the E55 for $54,000 with no problem...
