Hey Mike... yeah I know this is the ticket... its just the price of entry which has me a little bummed right now...

It will be a keeper for - hell prob until I retire, so maybe worth it. But I cannot see the £104k sticker being realistic. I can get a new car for £103K... with slightly less spec .

I need to find the exact right car - since it will be a keeper, and yes the AWE700 will go on almost immediately.

Personal choice would be the 997 gt3rs, but this thing just looks awesome.

You can't link pics from your email...

another option could be an F430?

Money no object - I would go for 997GT2... but I can get 12kmiles 996GT2 for less than half the money. 997TT annoys me with small gas tank and ZERO luggage room.... but got 4 seats for family (3yr old and 8month old).

Anyone know if you can fit kiddies seats in rear of GT2?

GT2 more of an occasion than the 4wd version.... 996GT2 460HP, 997GT2 520HP... hmmm but a tweak and tune gets the 996GT2 to same power very quickly.

Was thinking along the lines of an AC replica too - but its just a bit too raw - also for UK weather not ideal but in terms of VFM... a great bet.

Any thots?
997tt is the best overall package and most driveable in normal use.

Yep, agree basically decided on the 997TT, but its quite a struggle finding the right car... and convincing myself to take the jump!!! The hit on the E55 is pretty harsh...

Think I'll see how things go this year and keep looking for the right car... hopefully things go OK ... and I find the right car!
