I recenty lost my C32 and want to step up to the beast. I found an 05 with factory warranty for $43000. It has a few rasberries on it but it is still at least $10000 under bluebook. I know '05's are upgraded in a few areas and want to know if you guys think its worth the money. Or should I find a visually flawless 04 for about the same price without a warranty? Thank you for your suggestions.

CPO Warranty -- period, IMO. I saw an '05 go for auction in ATL for $42k (may have even been $40) and it is now on their lot for $54k -- CPO but WOW, what a home run if they could sell it for even $50k!!! Be patient (you have heard it is a virtue, one I don't have (I mean, I drive an E55 right?) -- I have also recently found it to be that having a lack of patience can = plain punishment). Hang tight, with gas sky rocketing and lease cars being turned in all the time, you will get a much better deal with every passing week - again -- IMO. Look for the newest listed cars, where the dealer has not gotten stuck because they put too much in the car 3 months ago. However, when you find the right CPO car -- buy it and don't look back -- except in the rearview mirror at your "competition" -- hahaha

Dings can be fixed for cheap. Some warranty work can't(for cheap).

I have an 04 that is certified and if I didn't have a CPO thet of my repairs would have put me back into my car when I was 16, a 1979 VW Scirroco!
