Should I be afraid to speed?
So for some reason I looked at a few SBC failure threads tonight and it's worrying me. Considering all updates have been made, should I worry still? '03 E55 btw.

Benz seemed to fix the prob with software fix to SBC. Haven't heard of a failure in quite awhile.
Long as you have the flash, you are fine.
I agree though, had me pretty scared for awhile...I was practicing stopping the car with the emergency brake just in case.

My lord GF- if you are only going to read the negative posts of course your butt is gonna be scared. Why not look at all the kill stories, track times, and regular posts about E55's that crush the competition with speed and torque.
