I am trying to find the best flat hood badge and I like the look and colors of this one. Anybody have this specific badge? Do all of these ebay badges secure with double sided tape?

Search for "White Star Flat Badge" on here. Hand made by DFWDude from this forum and they use the stock mechanism to attach/detach, which can be done by hand in about 3 seconds and is obviously very secure. Very nice piece too ... I still need to take some good pics of mine (maybe later tonight when I get home from work).

Some pics of the White Star flat badge. I found it somewhat hard to take a decent pic as it changes drastically based on angle and reflected light. It seemed like wherever I stood, my reflection still somehow screwed up the pic ... could just be that I fail at photography

I have that one, but mine has some color to it. I do like the silver one better though. Mine secured with 3M tape, and time will tell how secure it is, but I've had no problem for the 2 weeks I've had my E63

I'v had it for 6 months and no problem so far.
IMO this one matches black cars better than all other kinds.

Other than the tape version I'm not sure how the eBay one attaches. Doen't look like the stock mounting mechanism. Check by removing yours first.

If I don't have this one, I have a very similiar one. The emblem itself adheres to a metel "seat" with adhesive. The metal seat then bolts to the hood like the OEM gunsight. I doubt you will have any problems.
