Zod.. You can't accuse me of hand picking the 55's I run against..the fastest one in the country will be there.
Enzom..what's up buddy?..Where you been lately?..Rome?
Sicily? ...some other beautiful Mediterranean island?

The whole reason i started this thing was because i always was told that the 63 would pull on my 55 at high speeds and that was very far from the result...so i wanted to see if he had serious weight in the car or if my renntech mods are worth every penny!

LOL, dude if you are more than stage 1 you will walk away from any 63, they are close in stock form and neither car will ever "walk" the other at any speed. Down low the 55 will jump the 63 assuming traction but the 63 will pickup a little after 80mph, sometimes it is enough sometimes it is not.
Both cars shine in slightly different areas but overall it is a wash

They are both great cars. Both in the same family. If either one wins it's still a 4-door Mercedes winning. So I say who cares. They are really too close to actually make the "who's faster" call. Some out there will be faster some will be slower so I really never see an end to this topic. Just wait for the twin turbos to make it to the E and then see who's faster

The only Island I have visited recently is Manhattan, my friend.

Yo isnt your car modded? I remember you telling me it was...No?

I suggest winner takes all at E-town....the winner gets to proclaim that the E55/E63 is fastest and mbworld is now their domain....the loser is vanquished to post on other car forums.....
Sorry...I know being an instigator is part-time hobby....but provides full-time amusement...

As entertaining as this is, I dont get why this is an argument. The 55 takes it from a dig, and the 63 takes it from a roll. Thats it. A new 63 is 94k, a used 55 is between 40k-60k. But thats that. Enough.
Only continue this if it will either be entertaining or if it will lead to a race.

You guys should seriously drop this, how many E55 vs E63 threads do you need? The truth is that they are pretty much equal and both capable of running low 12's in the 1/4 mile with a minuscule edge going to E55. They are so close in performance that the outcome is determined by factors like: driver skill, what mode the cars were in, how much fuel and the kind of fuel, how many passengers, whether the car was broken in or not, etc.
