Forgot one important thing.. These have been ordered and will be here in 4-6weeks.. I just wanted to give you guys the heads up before they hit the streets.

------------------------------------
Stock ones fit. But, high flow filters are included.

Order your car now.. You know once Vadim and I put our minds to something it will get done... That 63 is going to be a monster when its finished...

We have built 722.9 tranny available for it to handle 1000lb/ft so no problems with trannies.. And, 6.2L of boost assisted power is going to be NUTS. I wish I could get CLK BS cars here.. I would already own one.. lol..

Yes sir.. Thats another bonus.. Pair of high flow filters included in the box.

They will include cotton based filters instead of the foam ones on the 55.. Alot more people are comfortable with the cotton so that is the reasoning for that.

I would like to officially throw my name on the list of the first shipment. Can't wait to see that carbon fiber baby on the 63. Keep up the good work.

I will second that. Put me down for second on the list. Any suggestions on who could help me install this in Northern VA?
Also since I have already done an ECU tuning will this give me any negative effects? I wouldnt think so but could be wrong. Let me know.

$1850 is for the air boxes only correct? No engine cover?

What if we've already have the VRP air filter? Pricing without the filters?

I will say the boxes look a lil funny with no supercharger in the middle. maybe polish that thing?

Added.

Install is 30min job.. instructions and everything needed to put them in will be provided with the box. ECU will not be affected.. It is able to adapt to extra airflow.

Everything you see in the picture you get for $1850.. Airboxes, engine cover, air filters, hardware, and installation instructions.

If I separate them, all I can do is knock off $50 so you might as well keep the spare filters.. If I raise the price back up to $1950 + shipping then I can deduct the price of the filters out..

Yeah.. I was looking at making the tubes but they are more of a pain than the 55 ones and I dont think we will gain much because its an N/A platform... I need to keep the air velocity up.

Don't worry.. We are working on the supercharger problem... Soon, you will get a chance to see a 63 with a S/C in the middle like MB should of done.. LOL..

Shall I put you down for 2 then? I will compile a list and once I see if we hit 10 people I'll tell you guys how to order.. if we don't I have to sell them at the $1950 price + shipping.

They really did come out beautiful.. I love the look of carbon under the hood.. It is especially killer looking on a CLK63 BS.. I think MB really should of put some carbon on that car.

I'll take care of you.. Just give me some time to get organized and see how many people want this then I'll know what pricing to set and give instructions for ordering.

Sorry.. For this project they are only going to be sold as a kit.. The problem I had with the 55 was that some people wanted the cover, some people wanted the tubes.. In the end, I am left with mismatched pieces and when someone wants a complete kit I cant do it..

This way, they stay together and everyone is ensured a proper package.

NICE work VRP! I may have to egt in on this if I figure out how to make it work on my car. The numbers you posted are whp? Which airbox makes more power... your 55 box or this 63 box?

This is esentially a larger capacity air box I believe.

Thanks everyone! I'll compile a list and post the names today so we can see how many guys we have.. I'll go through my PMs, emails and posts ..

-------------------------

Most of the benefit of these airboxes (including my 55 versions) are shown when the car is at speed and airflow is maximized.
