I like everything you have done to enhance the looks of an already great car. The rims look great and as for lowering, you can't get any better than the Renntech lowering module. Nice work and congratulations!

Car looks great, and the 5 spoke AMG wheels look excellent on the W211 chassis. I think these 19" rims are an improvement over the stock 18" E63 five spokes while keeping with the five spoke theme, but we all know wheel style is a matter of personal taste, so others may prefer the stock E63 wheels.
Maybe a not well-known fact is the MB offers what most of us think of as these "CLS" style wheels in a version for the W211 chassis. The W211 version 5 spoke AMG wheels are 8.5x19 and 9.5x19, with correct W211 offsets of et30 front and et31 rear (the CLS versions are the same size except they have offsets of et25 front and et28 rear, so they sit outward by 3mm front and rear compared to the W211 versions).
Part numbers for the correct W211 versions:
Front - B6 603 1232
Rear - B6 603 1233

I have to go light on the tint since I'm in Jersey and I don't want to attract too much attention from the police... I was considering the x pipe. What is the 530 package again?

I must say, I do prefer the OEM E63 18"s as they are rare and for that car only. The wheels you have on now are not bad, like aftermarket chromed 20"s would be, but they are a little ordinary to my eyes. If you like them, that's all that matters and as I said they are a handsome wheel just not special. However, your car looks great overall and the E63 is a great auto.

Teolax: what is the clearance with your rear tire to fender? Is it a few mm? Just wondering when it comes time for you to lower your car. I've got the same wheels with a 285 rear and it rubs. I'm replacing with a 275 as soon as it comes in.
Cheers,

Clearance is about one finger... I've heard that you can get some rubbing if you run 285 which is stock on these wheels on the CLS55. Hopefully with the 275's I won't get any rubbing when I install the ELM.

Yeah, he told me you were back in town for the next couple of weeks. Let me get the ELM installed and maybe we can get together next week some time. I'd like to see your E55 since I've heard so much about it...

Post some pics once you get it lowered dude.
Again, that's an absolutely sick car you've got there.

Yup, you're right. I've got the 285's installed and they rub slightly on the inner fender lip at stock ride height. I've ordered 245/275's... I know they'll clear but unsure if they'll rub once lowered. Oh well, we'll see how it goes!
