E63 hood star??
Hey,
Should be getting the E63 some time this week, have a few things being installed by the dealer, K40, bluetooth phone system, and 35% tint.
I want to do a few more simple mods to the car, one of them replacing the MB hood star, for the flat badge that sits on the hood.
Where is a good place to get the flat emblem to replace the hood star?? Also does anyone have pics of the E without the hood star??
Are there any other simple mods that can be done to the car?

As far as simple mods, take out the charcoal air filters and maybe even buy some VRP air filters. For $200 this should give you another 20HP. I would also consider a sprint booster for another ~$270. This will greatly enhance the throttle response and most guys here swear by them.

Okay, are the ones on ebay any good????
I plan to remove the charcoal filter after the car is all broken in (around 1,500 miles?). Do you think its worth replacing the air filter too?
Can the amber lights on the front bumper be changed to clear?

As far as the filters, I looked at it is a realtively cheap mod for 10HP, especially considering we have a $90,000 car...
