Pics Of My Wannabe Pano Roof
Hey Peeps,
After reading all the "poser bashing" in this forum, it appears that I have a little "poser-ism" in me as well. So I decided to paint my roof black to go for the pano look. What do you guys think?

I heard that it's been done, but I'm not sure if it will be the same. Being the **** person that I am, I decided that it's probably best to just paint it.
Besides...I don't give a sh** about the resale value so I might as well experiment right?

I don't know how Mercedes puts them on - they use some type of template - it was actually shown on a video I saw somewhere (I think Mercedes TV on their web site showed the factory install them in a very short clip in a video). That would bug the crap out of me as I can spot moved emblems from a mile away! It's always easy to tell if a Merc has had paintwork on the trunk or been debadged in a previous life because the letters/numbers are not spaced correctly or not at the right level.
I would like to know how Mercedes expects someone to reinstall them if they are ever removed. Is there a tool available that anyone knows of?

Actually, I'm getting the eurostrip to get rid of the sidemarker completely. But from what I hear, the sidemarker bulbs cannot be removed and still need to be placed somewhere...
