W211 E55 brakes onto W209?
Can anyone confirm the 211 E55 brakes fitting onto a 209 CLK500?
If not, how much modification must be done to attain fitment?

E320CDI, CLK55, and a Smart
I believe they will fit the W209, but you will need a specific adapter for the calipers to attach to the spindle. Also the W209 spindle may have only a 12mm hole to attach it, in which case, you would have to machine the spindle to 14mm.
