went back to AAA this morning to fix the rattling noise...
took some pics underneath the car...

That is the Rear Diff Cover/Cooler for AMG cars
Its like a Heat sink that hangs down under the diff...They get Resurfaced on lowered cars

Nice E55, MJ! I saw the sig and then found this thread. Great mods so far. The rear spoiler and tint look sweet. Makes me think I should have gotten an E55 instead of a CLK55, LOL! Congrats

I see. They welded that piece of metal between the two pipes, to prevent the pipes from hitting each other when the exhaust heats up, right? Nobody sees that anyway.
