dealer didn't have one with E55K AMG stitching... oh well...

finally got them installed today...
bought a sharp thin hook piece thingy from autozone and just pulled it out easily...

just had few MBenzNL mods installed today by Steve...
starting off with iPod kit...
module goes in the trunk and stuffs that gets on the way to the glovebox needed to be removed...

3rd, the IMS (Interior Motion Sensor)
install is simpler than 203 since no headliner cutting is needed...
notice on the last pic, the IMS sensor pops out when armed and goes back in when disarmed...

6th, this was not planned and required game-time decision making...
VCM (Voice Control Module) with voice control lever/stalk...
the module is actually a Maybach part!

I love it! Too bad you got the iPod mod. I wish I had a chance to dissuade you. The MB iPod implementation is horrible and you will soon learn what I mean. Oh well. But you are much better off with Steve doing it that your stealership. Steve rocks.

NICE! Once I get the 55 or 63 sometime later this year, Steve's going to get a call. For now, I scheduled an appt. with him for John and my Euro Command for version coding tomorrow. I have to work but I'm going to try to make it down to HB to see him. Known Steve a long time, great person!
