Depends on what tool your looking for.
Wrenches, ratchets&sockets I like the way Snap-On feels in my hands

Screwdrivers:I like Snap-On,Mac or Klein

Pliers: Klein or Snap-On

Pneumatic tools: Ingersoll-Rand or Chicago Pneumatic
Air compressor : Ingersoll-Rand Industrial

Miller for any of my stick&Tig welding needs(although I have certified&welded on just about every brand machine),DeWalt or Bosch for 4.5"grinders

Smith for oxy-acetylene torches;Harris for regulators

Cordless tools I prefer DeWalt;I use them commercially&they take a hell of a beating

Any piping tools must be Ridgid;I won't start a job without them

Hilti for concrete drilling/chipping/core boring.I've used all brands&Hilti stands above the rest by a clear margin

Measuring calipers, micrometers, dial indicators&guages are always Starrett

I may have missed a few,but it's late & I'm kinda tired

Formula Mazda, Beast Junior...400HP 135i
My feelings exacty and I would add:

Hazet: Great micro screwdrivers and hose clamp drivers.

Beta: Just tried a Beta ratchet and really like it.

Good tools are expensive but will last a lifetime!

I use an Ace multi-tip screwdriver for most of my work.

Nahh,Chicago Pneumatics been around since 1894 long before Harbor Freight, lolMost of the industrial/commercial mechanics use their tools as they offer a killer 1" drive impact wrench that has 2000ft/lbs of torque

I think you may be confused with Central Pneumatic;Harbor Freight has a Central Pneumatic impact wrench for $19.95.Definitely cheapo quality.
