2008 Mercedes Benz E63 AMG, 2017 Porsche Macan S
I love the versatility of the engine. It's smooth, while cruising along, and aggressive when you want it to be. I traded in an '07 E550 for the '08 E63, and the faults of that car/engine are not present with my E63.
The faults of the E550 were:
Clouds of white smoke/steam when flooring the car.
Lack of low-end grunt (for me).
Too civilized (again...for me)
I love getting into my E63, and when you fire up the engine....it reminds you of what an awesome engine the car has.
I have had ZERO problems with the engine/car.
