Help with Multicontour seats
I just picked up my E55 today!
Everything is awesome except i can not turn on the Multicontour seats for the driverside. The passager side is great, but i can't turn on the Pulse or the Dynamic features..... The P.O says it a programming function... I found the Dynamic seat function in the settings, but nothing changes.... Is there a way to turn these on or might they be broke?
It is CPO'ed, so if it a issue MB should cover it.

Out Of Control!!
My bet is that it is broken. You can do one thing though. Scroll through the settings menu and see what the dynamic setting for the driver's seat is. The setting should not keep it from working, but it worth changing it from sport 1 to sport 2 and back, or whatever, to see if it makes it start working. Good luck.

Same problem here... and just for reference the "Pulse" button LED used to flash for a few bilnks then give out.
Turned out to be the air pump in the seat itself. My warranty covered it.
Good luck

Thanks for the input guys!
I don't think it is an airpump issue because nothing "tries" to turn on. Seems to me maybe it is like the module issue that Benz-O-Rama brought up.
Luckily it has the CPO... I will take it to the dealer and post back.

There are 2 modules on cars with dynamic seats. The controller under the seat is for the seat motors and memory function. The dynamic seat controller is inside the seat back. You can have a cracked hose which can cause a similar issue. Chaffed airlines can be leaking . Remove the seat back and inspect all the colored air lines for leaks. IF all else fails, it may be a dynamic seat control module in the seat back. If the right seat works fine then the pump is fine. There is only one pump for both seats.

It has to be something electrical. It dosen't seem like the unit on the drivers seat is getting power. Good thing this will be covered under my CPO.

I'd just bring it to the Stealership and have them fix it. Don't want to void anything trying to diagnose or fix anything yourself. Good luck!
