More of the Same(alignment issues)

HI!
Second set of tires gone after just 17000 miles. The tires look new on the outside but they are completely worn on the first inch and a half inside. Took it to the dealer twice and they say that the alignment is within specs. I asked them to show me the readings, but they would not. I then took it to a specialized shop where I do my racecar and when they checked we found that the camber was
RF -2.3deg
LF -1.6deg
RR -1.8deg
LR -1.7deg
All the other parameters were ok.
I don't think that the car would need so much neg camber for the street. In any case we did not change anything.
What do you guys think? Is this normal? Is there any way to get the camber back to 0 or maybe just to -.5deg?
I just put new tires and would like them to last more than 6000 miles.
Thanks
Victor

then you should know that those are close to race specs.

-2.3 up front is ridiculous for the street.

The camber is extreme, but in all honesty, 17000 miles on a set of rubber is'nt bad. Is the car slammed?

I think he said 2 sets of rubber in 17000mi.

And yes over -2 degrees of camber is a lot for just street use. On top of the fact that one front is at -2.3 and the other is at -1.6???

+1 on is the car lowered?

Something very fishy about the dealer not willing to show you the specs of the alignment that you paid for. Both dealers that I have worked for automaticly provide the customer with a before and after results printout. I would ask for, scratch that, DEMAND my money back without a printout.

After getting your money back find another dealer or have your alignment shop perform the alignment.

That honestly is close to factory spec for the car. There is a large window and low 2's is not wrong. What would be nice though is if it all were around the 1.7 mark. That is a pretty big difference left to right.

I had 2.6+ on mine and still got around 15k out of the tires. Car does really grip better with more camber however.

17k from tires is not all that bad. Quite good really. Rears normally go away before the fronts unless you enjoy corners.

I would just have your race shop set camber to -1.7 rf and lf. That should be right in the middle of the window. 2.3 Neg is towards the end of the factory spec.

HI!
Would I need to buy anything (bolt kit, plates etc.) to change the camber? I was not at the shop when they checked the alignment and did not get a look at the suspension. I'm asking because I remember someone from the dealer quoting some part kit to align the car. I have not done anything to the car yet, to see if I can solve the problem for good. BTW this is the third set of tires in 17000 miles.
