CEL - E63 - Anyone had this code before?
Just dropped my car off for a CEL I got over the weekend.
Dealership says they haven't seen this code before...its suggesting that the left side of the engine is running lean.
Has this happened to anyone before? If so, any input?
Thanks!

It was quite common for the ML63 and R63 for the intake manifold gaskets to leak and they would come in with codes for a lean bank. There was actually a technical bulliten for these chassis, but haven't seen it happen on any other chassis yet.

So...they investigated, I informed them that it could be an intake manifold gasket...they came back with .... BAD GAS!
So, they think I picked up some bad gas or something at my last fill up. Hard for me to believe since I never go the cheapy gas stations and only use premium (company pays for fuel).
Ugh. So the solution right now is for me to fill it up and drive it over the weekend to see if the CEL goes away.
If not I need to bring it back on Monday.
