Their are a lot of mercedes guys in the US and in england questioning the prices of the kleemann LSD which is a direct match to your design. Kleemann charges thousands for this setup and a lot of mercedes guys with w210 and 211 chassis E320's, E430's, and E55's are showing a lot of interest in your products. I myself have a turbocharged E320 running 10 psi and making just under 450 hp. It is a beast and but its open diff hampers its potential. Long story short: I have a spare E320 diff and if at all possible I would like to know if you could machine one of your LSD's for it and the cost. Also several members of www.mbworld.org have E55's and are still looking for an LSD and are also very interested in your products. One member also has a spare diff he would donate without question.

It is the kleemann spring box style. Check them out at www.phantomgrip.com A few of my buddies have 24K miles on them in their 240sx's and they drift a lot and many tuner mags use them .

This is great news. Its about time someone stepped up to create an affordable LSD for bezn owners.
I'll be sending my differential there within the next few months.
Good work Max

This is an obvious attempt at discrediting other manufacturers of aftermarket LSDs for the AMG market.
On a more serious note, would these work similar to the Quaife? I'm not very up to speed on differentials.

More details, please. I just started looking for some Quaiffes to get a group buy one but would love to hear what type of LSD this is. Any chance of getting the name of the company doing it? Any info would be great. I've got 5 guys ready if this is a go and Heyvon Motors to do the install.

I have the PG LSD in my Crossfire(aka SLK32) SRT-6 and it works great. It did take Phantom Grip 33 days to ship my diff. back to me after it arrived at their shop though which was pretty upsetting. The car REALLY likes to wag its tail now and it helps out when I have my giant(315/35 17) Hoosiers on the car.

For the first 10 days they wouldn't answer any of my calls or emails and then finally they admitted to "misplacing it". Then they kept saying it'd go out the next day, then the next two days, then the next week..............until it finally went out afte just over a month. Other people I know of have dealt with them and not had such a delay but I guess I got to be the exception(hopefully the only one).

Has anyone tried this company out? I am ready to pull the trigger on a LSD setup but it seems kinda "iffy" from the previous post's. Lemme know if you have any feedback or is it just safe to go with a quaife?

+1 I will be in need of a LSD very soon BUT I think I am now leaning more towards the quaife unit only because there hasn't been a straight answer from anyone about the phantomgrip unit...
